  The workshop is organised in terms of the following themes:

  • Digital twin: product design, reliable collaboration in manufacturing service, virtual reality in industry, machining application.
  • Smart Manufacturing: Monitoring, multimodal data, modelling and operations, industry software technology, tolerancing, assembly or IT-driven service-oriented smart manufacturing.
  • Additive manufacturing: Design for AM, hybrid manufacturing, process optimization.
  • Robotics, Cobotics and Electric Vehicles: collaborative robotics, energy management, new energy in electric vehicles.

The workshop aims to unite researchers and scientists from French and Chinese universities, fostering the exchange of information, experiences and research findings on various aspects of technologies related to Digital Twin, Smart Manufacturing, and Additive Manufacturing. It offers a platform for creating communication and collaboration in this field. Furthermore, the workshop serves to acquaint ESILV engineering students with the latest developments in additive manufacturing and digital twin technologies, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the future of manufacturing.
